The Procurement Analyst will be responsible for monitoring, auditing, and optimizing all expenses related to office and branch utilities and certain expenses related to real property repairs and maintenance. This role ensures accurate tracking, reporting, and forecasting of utility costs along with repairs and maintenance, identifies cost-saving opportunities, and collaborates with internal departments and external vendors to help manage contracts and billing. This role will ensure cost accuracy, and maintain compliance with procurement policies.

What you will do:

• Audit and reconcile vendor invoices for office and branch utilities (including telecom and data services) and certain other facilities expenses.
• Ensure invoices are paid on time to avoid late fees and service disruptions.
• Monitor and analyze spend trends within our various payment systems for the assigned expenses.
• Make recommendations to improve and enhance the control environment and reporting for the assigned expenses.
• Identify over billings, over payments, unnecessary charges and services, incorrect billings, billings for services or locations no longer required, etc. and recommend corrective action.
• Identify cost variances, investigate discrepancies, and recommend corrective actions.
• Action the approved recommended corrective action
• Collaborate with department leaders and FP&A to ensure expenses align with budget and forecasts with minimal variances.
• Maintain detailed procurement records and documentation for compliance and audit purposes.
• Prepare and present regular cost analysis reports by location for leadership.
• Support cost-optimization initiatives and procurement best practices.
• Advance the company’s strategy around right sizing the operating expenses with the right level of spending in the right areas
• Other duties as assigned

What you should have: 

• Direct experience in auditing monthly bulk invoices across hundreds of locations and vendors.
• Proficient in procurement tools and willing to learn new systems for Attain to trial.
• Ability to pull and analyze financial spend reports and create strategies with proposed cost savings and cost avoidance targets
• Previous experience in consumer or specialty finance is a plus
• Experience working cross-functionally within a large scale, complex, data driven and technologically innovative organization
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent organizational, and time management skills

Education or Equivalent Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 2+ years of procurement, finance, or cost analysis experience, preferably in utilities including telecommunication and data services or facilities
• Proficiency with procurement and vendor management tools; experience with GetChoice, Corcentrix and ServiceChannel strongly preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
• Advanced Excel skills; ability to work with large datasets and create reports
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally

Base Salary: $65,000 - $75,000

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position based on the U.S. average. The actual base salary offered for this full-time position will be determined by various factors, including but not limited to, location, skills, knowledge, competencies, and experience.
